Are you already confident in basic rope safety, column ties, and basic frictions? Have you been tying for a while and feel ready to try suspensions? Well, this is probably the weekend for you.

The ties we are looking at are partnered ties, we will look to run a self-suspension workshop in the future though.

Ropecraft: Hands, Hair, and Toes

We will be looking at ways to incorporate hands, fingers, feet, hair, and toes into ties.

You do not need to bring proof of booking, we will simply take your name on the door.

Ropecraft First Steps

Ropecraft First Steps - 20th September 2025

We've been having a great time and gotten some excellent feedback on our regular monthly Ropeworks events, so have decided to run some longer full day events that are a little more focused, with lower numbers of attendees.

"First Steps" is exactly as it sounds, if you've never picked up a rope before, been away from tying for a while, or for whatever reason just want to go right back to the beginning. The aim of the day is to have all of the attendees leave feeling able to safely do a basic scene, and be able to attend other events with confidence that they're not going to feel lost or unable to fully take-part and enjoy themselves.

Dress code is casual/comfortable clothing, dance wear, yoga wear... basically vanilla and suitable to be moving around and/or tied in. Due to the nature of this event and venue, no nudity please. This is a rope-focused event, not for other types of play (sexual/impact/etc).
